This monk subclass is built on the bones of time manipulation. Its adherents practice meditation the nature of time & experience, and the teachings of Zerthamon.

Acceleration Meditation

3rd-level Zerth Cenobite feature

By expanding your perception you are able to accomplish more than others in the same time. When you spend a ki point yo use flurry of blows, patient defense, or step of the wind you may take an additional bonus action immediately after. This cannot be the same bonus action as the first.

Precognition

3rd-level Zerth Cenobite feature

You can see a moment into the future and by changing the present can change the future. When you make an ability check, saving throw, or attack roll you may choose to reroll it after seeing the roll but before the result is determined. You add your proficiency bonus to the reroll if you normally would not. You must use the result of the second roll.

As an alternative you may use a reaction when a creature you can see within 60 ft of you makes an attack or ability roll you may impose a penalty on the roll equal to your proficiency bonus, which may cause the roll to fail.

You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Wisdom bonus (minimum 1) before finishing a long rest.

Timeslip

6th-level Zerth Cenobite feature

You walk through time the same as across the ground. At 6th level you can spend 2 ki and use an action to slip through time, disappearing from your space. You choose a number of rounds up to your Wisdom modifier (minimum 1). At the beginning of your turn that mamy rounds later you reappear where you had initially vanished. If that space is now occupied you reappear in the nearest open space.

Timelock

6th-level Zerth Cenobite feature

Time can be moved, and can be stopped. As an action you freeze yourself in time until the beginning of your next turn. During this time you cannot be affected by magic, are immune to all damage, and cannot be moved or affected by any conditions. Your speed becomes 0, you cannot take actions, bonus actions, or reactions.

Burst of Speed

11th-level Zerth Cenobite feature

You become a blur for a brief moment. You may spend a ki point and use a bonus action to cast haste on yourself, with the following changes:

  • When the spell ends you are not exhausted or lethargic.

  • The duration of the spell ends at the start of your next turn. You can spend a ki point at the start of your next turn to extend the duration until the beginning of your next turn without using a bonus action.

Temporal Strike

11th-level Zerth Cenobite feature

With a touch of your hand you can fling a creature through time. When you hit a creature with an unarmed attack you can spend 2 ki points to perform a temporal strike. The target must make a Charisma saving throw or vanish, shunted into the future. The creature reappears in that same location at the beginning of its turn after ten rounds, or the nearest unoccupied space if it cannot return to its original location. You must concentrate on this effect and if your concentration ends the creature reappears at the beginning of its next turn.

Golden Strike

17th-level Zerth Cenobite feature

You see the shining golden path of perfection and may align yourself to it for a moment. When you or a creature you can see within 60 ft would roll a d20 you can choose to set the result to 1 or 20. You can use this feature once before finishing a long rest.

Undo Harm

17th-level Zerth Cenobite feature

You may return your body to wholeness after injury. When you take damage or suffer a condition you can use your reaction to spend 5 ki points to reverse time for your body only and undo the effect. If the conditions or damage are the result of a spell or circumstance that imposes further effects you ignore all of them. For example, if you take 34 fire damage and are lit on fire and use this feature to negate the damage you also are not on fire. This does not affect ongoing effects such as the obstructions of web or entangle.
