Diamond Rings

Wedding rings are gold with diamonds not for appearance but as resurrection insurance: the gold goes to the priest, the diamond is consumed by the spell. Thus, a ring with a stone worth at least 1,000 gp is a sign of love and the ability to protect ones' partner.
