Candle Challenge Trap

As you enter a room an even, but dim illumination spreads out from the door like a ripple. Hundreds of candles light with a crackle, hanging overhead. Every slim taper of natural cream-colored wax hangs and bobs in the air. They are suspended upside-down, and the flame soon begins to climb up the wax. They drip quickly, and will be gone in a minute or so. When they are all burnt the trap springs. There are too many to blow out or prestidigitate, but an area spell like gust of wind or cone of cold would put them out. Conjure water used in the raincloud form will also extinguish candles in its area. Any candle blown out re-ignites after a round. Candles dampened light again after two rounds, and frozen candles after three. The trap is usually something like a wax golem, which forms from the drippings. Treat as a flesh golem without the berserking issues, but with the ability to grapple on a successful hit, and it splits like an ooze if it takes more than 10 slashing damage in a hit. Also has vulnerability to fire, natch.
