Best Boat

A tubby little jolly-boat, shaped like a tug-boat or a much oversized kayak. The boat is maybe twenty feet long and twelve wide, and can carry easily a dozen people; less comfortably, sixteen. By looks, the thing would wallow and bob uncontrollably. However, beneath it are four broad flippers, very much like those of a sea turtle. The boat is imbued with a friendly animal intelligence, and behaves like a big water-dog. Two eyes painted to either side of the prow are decorative, but do move and give the "face" a sense of life.
